Tutoring

 Write Well Studios offers customized tutoring plans based on our clients' current writing obligations and future aspirations. All tutors are college-level faculty who hold advanced degrees in English, Composition Studies, or another writing intensive field. Our tutors are published authors and active writers, who understand the drafting process. Tutoring sessions will be designed depending on the individualized needs of each student, but writers can expect to:

• work with tutors who hold graduate degrees in English, Composition Studies, or another writing intensive field and who are current college-level faculty (we encourage clients to research the tutors online -- they are award winning teachers!)
• strengthen their ability to read (poems, plays, novels, nonfiction) both for comprehension and for analysis
• develop independent claims and thesis statements in response to  writing prompts
• learn drafting strategies that make the writing process more fluid 
• improve organizational skills
• broaden vocabulary and sharpen grammatical and syntactical skills
• master synthesis, argumentative, and research essay writing
• acquire revision practices they can use in any writing environment for any writing assignment (and increase sentence clarity)

The goal at Write Well Studios is to lead students to academic success right now, while also teaching them how to succeed outside of the studio. Write Well Studios builds independent  readers, writers, and thinkers, ready for high school, college, and future careers!
